Featured Event: Parade of Homes 2008!

The HBA is proud to announce our upcoming Parade of Homes tour! This year we are working in conjunction with the Tangipahoa HBA to provide an even better experience for home buyers. We have builders featuring homes in New Orleans, Chalmette, St. Rose, Westwego, Muntz, Laplace, Luling, River Ridge, and we plan to be adding more sites soon! We will also feature 9 homes in the Ashton Plantation subdivision in Luling. The dates this year are April 19-20, 26-27, and May 3-4. Each day the homes will be open from 1-6 pm. Please check back, as we will be adding more information soon!

Councils

Are you interested in expanding your membership and participation opportunities in the HBA of Greater New Orleans? Consider joining one of our specialty councils!

• The Remodelers Council is a place for New Orleans area remodelers and renovators to meet for education, networking and special events. Every year the council presents the HBA's Kick Ass Cook Off and bowling tournament, not to mention other special events.

• The Crescent City Green Building Council is the newest addition to the HBA’s family of Councils. It is your local source for green building information, building ratings, and more!

• When it comes to networking opportunities for multi-family and other housing professionals, nothing beats the Multi-Family Council of Greater New Orleans. Whether you are a multi-family developer, builder, manager or vendor, the MFC is your home in New Orleans.

• If you are a Real Estate professional interested in meeting home builders, you should absolutely consider joining the HBA’s Sales and Marketing Council.

Insurance and Workman’s Comp

If your Worker’s Comp insurance is through the Home Builders SIF, or your liability is through the GL Trust, be sure that your dues are currently paid with the HBA of Greater New Orleans.
