Councils

Are you interested in expanding your membership and participation opportunities in the HBA of Greater New Orleans? Consider joining one of our specialty councils!

• The Remodelers Council is a place for New Orleans area remodelers and renovators to meet for education, networking and special events. Every year the council presents the HBA's Kick Ass Cook Off and bowling tournament, not to mention other special events.

• The Crescent City Green Building Council is the newest addition to the HBA’s family of Councils. It is your local source for green building information, building ratings, and more!

• When it comes to networking opportunities for multi-family and other housing professionals, nothing beats the Multi-Family Council of Greater New Orleans. Whether you are a multi-family developer, builder, manager or vendor, the MFC is your home in New Orleans.

• If you are a Real Estate professional interested in meeting home builders, you should absolutely consider joining the HBA’s Sales and Marketing Council.

• For those who provide products or services to builders, the Associates Council actively encourages builders and remodelors to do business with their fellow members. Networking opportunities and events include the annual crawfish boil, fishing rodeo, golf tournament and 5-K Falldown.

Insurance and Workman’s Comp

If your Worker’s Comp insurance is through the Home Builders SIF, or your liability is through the GL Trust, be sure that your dues are currently paid with the HBA of Greater New Orleans. Your access to these programs depends upon your membership. Feel free to call if you are unsure as to when you renew your annual membership at (504) 837-2700.
